You're a Good Man Charlie Brown

What an odd feeling. I've just returned from a rather sweet production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". 27 years ago, as a very young man, I also played in that show. Oh it's been tweaked and lengthened, new music and changed lines, but the heart of the show remains. What's odd is the sense of community I feel with the young people performing tonight. And yet separated by years and a new world, not a part. That's the way of the world... it tends to move on whether we like it or not. But you know what... I think I do like it.

Thanks for stopping by my site. I see that we have a couple of things in common. Teaching and Texas! How were the results of your test?

I agree that there is overkill with holiday decorations and the like. It would be nice to remember the REAL reason for the season!
